Melissa Miller is a partner at Howie, Sacks & Henry LLP and the recipient of the Ontario Bar Association’s 2022 Award for Excellence in Elder Law. Her Toronto practice concentrates on nursing home negligence law, elder abuse law, long-term care failures, hospital negligence law, product liability, and long-term disability law. She founded Canadians4LTC and Lawyers4LTC, testified before Parliament, and is the subject of the NFB documentary “Stolen Time.”
